WELCOME TO THE LOWE FAMILY COMMUNITY ON HOOSIER ROOTS

The Lowe Community shares my research to date on the descendents of William LOWE (1764-1832). William, believed to have been born in Maryland, moved to Harrison County, Kentucky between 1792 and 1794, and then on to Posey County, Indiana in 1818. Many of his nine children raised thier families in Posey County as well.

Some information on the WHITING and YOUNG families is available here as well.

Much of the information I have on thei family comes from comes from county hsitories. I am working at supplementing this work with research into original Posey County records.
